Employee Notification by Employers

All employers including churches are required by the ACA to notify all their current and new employees staring October 1, 2013 about the existence of the Health Insurance Marketplace (i.e. ACA exchange) in their state plus the employee's possible eligibility to purchase medical insurance and obtain subsidies there.  To assist you in complying with this ACA mandate, we have identified a very credible and convenient source of information and guidance.  The leaders at GuideStone have authorized EPC churches to click on their special webpage for facts and resources needed for compliance.  GuideStone services many evangelical churches and ministries plus collaborates with the EPC and other religious organizations on Benefits topics of mutual interest.  For questions or more specific guidance, consult a local attorney.  When the following question is encountered on the required template - "Does the employer offer a health plan that meets the minimum value standard?" - be assured that all EPC Medical Plan options meet this requirement.
