Thank you for exploring how to support National Outreach. The EPC National Outreach relies heavily on support of the churches, and often ministry is implemented through the benevolence funds. These are specified areas that National Outreach has seen the Lord direct the call for additional support. As you peruse the opportunities, we ask that you prayerfully consider how you may be an instrument of God's grace in the variety of ways that the Lord has presented himself.

Urban Ministry

2009 Goal: $100,000 (NO-19)

Your benevolence dollar is worth 3 times as much in an urban setting and will provide funding to help:

Redeem a drug corner and nuisance bar into a coffee and ice cream shop with a Christian atmosphere
Computers/reading materials for after-school tutoring
Home ownership classes for low-income parents
Scholarships for summer day camps
Seed money to attract and stipend interns, low-income Christian adults, and college students to provide much needed ministry in our urban centers
Matching funds for money earned in youth entrepreneurial programs
Health insurance for new church plant staff
Coaching for urban churches or suburban churches who want to become urban sensitive

The needs in our urban centers are too numerous to list, but your financial assistance brings a little more hope and encouragement to those who live and minister there to make visible the Kingdom of God.

Church Planting

Your gifts in the past have provided funds for existing and new church plants. As we move forward as a missional denomination, we encourage you to continue supporting church planting projects by giving directly to your local presbytery and/or church.
