Director of Youth Ministries

Position Summary:
The purpose of the Director of Youth Ministries is to minister to and direct the youth programs of Woodland Presbyterian Church (EPC). The Director is expected to model his/her faith in Jesus Christ clearly, so that the youth of the church will be encouraged to follow this example, and thus grow in their own personal relationship with Jesus. The Director will share Christ in a manner that will compel young people to more fully obey the teachings of Jesus Christ and to demonstrate Christian values in their personal lives.

The Primary responsibility of the Director of Youth Ministries is for the Youth defined as individuals in 7th through 12th grades. Additionally, youth may encompass college age individuals willing to take on a leadership role in youth programs. The Director is accountable to the Pastor, Discipleship Team, and is under the oversight of the Session and the Personnel committee.

Orchard Christian Fellowship (EPC)

Orchard Christian Fellowship in scenic Londonderry, NH is seeking a Youth Ministry Director to lead the youth of our 350+ member church. This full-time position requires the planning, coordinating, and supervising of all the church youth ministries for Middle School and High School students (grades 6-12). The qualified candidate will have a passion for working with teenagers and preteens, and will have the ability to reach out and appeal to youth in all stages of their Christian walk. The successful candidate will have the ability to relate to youth in a contemporary and relevant way, and be able to increase youth participation from both the congregation and from the surrounding community through fun, creative activities. This person should be able to cast a vision for growing young hearts for Christ and shepherd these adolescents through wisdom, discernment, compassion, and love.  The position requires a minimum of 5 years of direct youth leadership experience and a bachelor’s degree (advanced degree desired). Formal training in Youth Ministry is preferred.
