Place of Refuge for Missionaries [WO-485]
Missionary life often means dealing with hardship, pain, and persecution. The "Budapest Garden House" makes possible a great expansion of the professional mental health services, counseling, post-traumatic stress treatment, debriefings, and pastoral care available for World Outreach missionaries and their families; and leadership development opportunities for nationals. We will also serve missionaries and national Christian workers from all evangelical mission agencies with personnel serving in hard places. Funding covers rent and utilities for office space, a guest apartment, and meeting rooms for workshops. Funding also provides guest facilities/grounds for individuals and teams needing spiritual renewal, reconciliation, and retreat. Believing that missionaries are too valuable to lose, we are excited to be able to provide this place of refuge. Our 2013 goal is $30,000.
