EPC church Resurrection Brooklyn featured in New York Times

Brian Steadman, Assistant Pastor and Director of Relief Ministries for Resurrection Brooklyn of the EPC’s Presbytery of the East, was featured in the New York Times on June 20. The article focused on the struggles of Hurricane Sandy survivors in dealing with governmental bureaucracy, and the work of many in the community—including Resurrection Brooklyn—to try to cut through the red tape.

Resurrection Brooklyn is extremely thankful to all our fellow EPC churches who have supported our church's effort to assist those still recovering from Sandy. We have a long way to go to recover in Brooklyn, please consider sending a team to come serve alongside us, worship with us on Sunday, let us host you for dinner one night you're here, and enjoy getting to know God's favorite borough, Brooklyn!

Warmly,
Brian
